About
I’m a relatively simple person — I treat others as I want to be treated. I’m loyal. I listen well. I’m a family man who believes in hard work. I care about our community, respect the land and truly appreciate living in Western Montana - one of the most beautiful places in the country. When it comes to my work as an agent, I’m no different. I am very much dedicated to helping you anyway I can and promise to treat you with the respect you deserve. My overall goal is to ensure your real estate venture is a successful one and that you receive quality service from start to close.
MY STORY:
I was born in Utica…. New York, that is. Yes, I’m an east coast boy. I briefly lived in Virginia and grew up in the rough & tumble suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. Well, maybe not so rough. Our family settled in an old, white, stucco, country-style, farm house just a few miles from where General Washington and his troops froze their you know what’s off in Valley Forge. The infamous Horseshoe Trail ran through our back yard. Really not a bad place to grow up - an hour and a half to the Jersey shore, two hours to the Pocono mountains, two hours to New York City, and three to DC.
For eight years I worked in the financial sector for The Vanguard Group and Delaware Investments. In 1999 I took a sabbatical from work, along with two other friends, and biked across the country on Route 76. The route brought us through Missoula where we stayed with an old high-school friend. Missoula struck a chord with me and the next year I decided to relocate. In 2000, I attended the University of Montana for a second bachelors.
In 2003 my father and I formed a small Real Estate Investment company - Golden Stone Properties, LLC - which buys, rehabs and rents properties in several different states. Just recently activated my license and have been embracing the change working as a Portico Real Estate Sales Agent.
I’m happily married to Daria Mochan, photographer and owner of Daria Photography. We have a three year old daughter, two dogs and another baby due in June.
